Who I Am & Why This Exists

For me, writing has always been more than an outlet—it is an act of translation, a bridge between experiences and emotions, between history and the present. In a case like this, my work is deeply personal, reflecting both the stories I’ve lived and the ones I’ve been privileged to have encountered through the people I’ve met. Whether I its unraveling a mystery in Detective Blueberry, reconstructing the past in On The Beat, or sharing reflections in North Star, I want my writing to capture for you the essence of life as it unfolds—raw, unpredictable, and memorable.

My reporter’s instincts have never left me—and I’m working towards my craft being that which is grounded in keen observation, social intelligence, and an ability to extract the heart of a story. That being said, I’m somewhat of a softy…and so even the grittiest piece will always be laced with nostalgia, philosophy, and a curiosity about the world that refuses to settle for surface-level understanding.
